KATHMANDU: Minister for Communications and Informational Technology Gokul Baskota has said Nepal Communist Party (NCP) standing committee member Bhim Rawal didn’t receive any death threat from Baluwatar.

“Do you believe that leader Rawal received such a death threat from Baluwatar? Do you think PM Oli is like that?,” Minister Baskota questioned while responding to journalists on Thursday.

Minister Baskota added that there was no reality to such claims.

Talking to Khabarhub, leader Rawal had said he had received a ‘death threat call’ from Baluwatar asking him to refrain from making statements against the widely-debated Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Rawal, who has been a vocal critic of MCC, had said he received a call from a person who works at Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, recently.
