CoAS Thapa pays courtesy call on Bangladeshi President Hamid



KATHMANDU: Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Purna Chandra Thapa has paid a courtesy call on Bangladeshi President Mohammad Abdul Hamid.

CoAS Thapa, who is on a four-day official visit to Bangladesh, met with President Hamid at Bangabhawan in the capital city Dhaka on Monday.

Meanwhile Thapa also laid a wreath on the martyrs at Shikha Anirban and participated in an official program held by Nepali Embassy in Dhaka.

He also met with high military officials of Bangladesh. Thapa will return home on Tuesday.
