Gandaki State announces public holiday on Tamu Lhosar

POKHARA: Gandaki state government has announced a public holiday for December 31 on the occasion of Tamu Lhosar.

A meeting of Council of Ministers held on Wednesday decided to that effect, according to state government Spokesperson Ram Sharan Basnet.

The state government had announced a public holiday in the state on the occasion of the festival last year too.

The Gurung community marks Tamu Lhosar by bidding adieu to the year gone by.
