Cyclist dies in road mishap



CHITWAN: A cyclist died in an accident in Chitwan this morning.

The deceased has been identified as 17-year-old Phillip Praja of Rapti municipality-13.

The accident took place when a bus — Na 4 Kha 6330 — heading towards Pulchowk from Pokhara Bus Park hit Philip at Diyalo road of Bharatpur municipality-1 today.

Injured Philip died in course of treatment at Bharatpur Hospital.

Police have impounded the vehicle and search for the absconding driver was underway, according to the Chiwan District Police Office.
