Detainee escapes from custody of Kirtipur Police

KATHMANDU:  A detainee has escaped from the custody of the Metropolitan Police Circle, Kirtipur.

According to police, detainee Rijan Thapa escaped at around 5 am on Sunday morning making an excuse for going to the toilet.

DSP Chhedilal Kamati said they have started a search for the escaped detainee.
