11 held on motorcycle theft charge

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 11 people on the charge of stealing motorcycles from various places in the capital.

Metropolitan Police Circle, Kirtipur has arrested them with nine motorcycles stolen from various places including Nagarjun, Kirtipur.

According to DSP Chhedulal Kamati, the arrested are Madan Tamang of Kirtipur, Som Sunar and Sandip Gurung of Chitwan, Santosh Gole of Makwanpur, Bharat Thapa of Nawalparasi, Rinjen Moktan of Chandragiri, Indra Bahadur Tamang and Ganesh Lama of Kavre, Bikram Bhujel of Sindhuli and Raju Paudel of Bardiya.

Police said they are investigating the case after filing a theft case against them.
