JALESWOR: The Ayurved Health Centre at the district headquarters of Mahottari, Jaleshwor, has been plagued with an anomaly.

Employees here have been drawing salaries without coming to the office.

They barely come to the office for a few days in a month.

Office Chief Pavan Jha has abstained for weeks in the office, which has the quota for 10 employees.

The anomaly was found during monitoring conducted by a team led by Minister of State for Social Development in Province 2 Abhiram Sharma.

As the monitoring team conducted a surprise visit, there were no employees in the office.

The office even lacked letter-pad, notebook and office signboard. Moreover, the office had date-expired medicines.

Minister of State Sharma warned of stern action against the employees.
