Robbers’ attempt to rob Civil Bank ATM bites the dust



LAHAN: Robbers unsuccessfully attempted to rob an automated teller machine (ATM) of Civil Bank based at Lahan in Siraha on Sunday evening.

A group of looters had tried to rob the ATM booth stalled on the ground floor of the house of Krishna Gupta in Lahan Municipality-4.

According to Saroj Ghimire, branch manager of Civil Bank, Lahan, they had tried to steal the money by dismantling the ATM lock but ran away after their attempt bit the dust.

There was a total of 1.5 million in the ATM.
