Buddha Air aircraft hits wild boar in Nepalgunj

NEPALGUNJ: An aircraft of Buddha Air hit a wild boar while it was landing at Nepalgunj Airport on Wednesday evening.

“A wild boar struck against the rear wheels of the aircraft while it was landing at 6:25 pm on Wednesday,” said Binit Shah, chief of Budhha Air, Nepalgunj.

The wild boar has died but the passengers are safe and that the aircraft dis not sustain any damages.

The wild boar had scuttled over to the runway from a nearby bush when the aircraft was about to land.
