Will not let people’s optimism go down, says Bidya Bhattarai

POKHARA: Newly-elected member of the House of Representatives (HoR), Bidya Bhattarai has vowed to keep up her promises that she has given to the people before the by-elections.

“I will not let down people’s hope and optimism,” she said while receiving the certificate of victory after being elected to the Member of Parliament from Kaski constituency-2.

She added she would spend her life in the service of people who trusted her with votes to ensure her win.

“I know, there are still challenges in politics. Political culture is lacking. Youths have lost trust in politics. But still, I will try to address the needs and interests of the new generation and listen to people’s aspirations”, she said.
