PM Oli undergoes dialysis

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli underwent dialysis of his kidney for the fourth time at the Dhapasi-based Grande International Hospital on Sunday afternoon.

The prime minister has been undergoing regular dialysis at the hospital after the kidney that was transplanted some 12 years ago stopped functioning.

Dialysis of the blood is a process to remove toxic substances or metabolic wastes from the bloodstream used in the case of kidney failure.
