British tourist missing in Nepal’s Everest region



KATHMANDU: A British tourist has gone missing from the Everest trekking region since November 2.

According to Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN), whereabouts of James Griffin of Great Britain, holding passport number 536538452, is still unknown.

He is reported to have arrived in Nepal on October 29 before beginning his Everest trek.

TAAN has requested all its member agencies and trekking guides to report to it immediately if they have happened to come across or seen Griffin in the Everest region.
