Foreign currency exchange rates fixed for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs 152.65 and the selling rate at Rs 153.25. Similarly, the buying rate for one European euro is Rs 175.08 and the selling rate is Rs 175.77, while the buying rate for one UK pound sterling is Rs 204.15 and the selling rate is Rs 204.95. The Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 186.47 for buying and Rs 187.20 for selling.

The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 108.67 and the selling rate is Rs 109.10. Likewise, the Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 108.80 for buying and Rs 109.23 for selling, while the Singapore dollar is set at Rs 119.79 for buying and Rs 120.26 for selling.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.73 and the selling rate is Rs 9.77. The Chinese yuan has been fixed at Rs 22.79 for buying and Rs 22.88 for selling. Similarly, the Saudi Arabian riyal is set at Rs 40.65 for buying and Rs 40.81 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is fixed at Rs 41.88 for buying and Rs 42.04 for selling.

According to the central bank, the Thai baht has been fixed at Rs 4.61 for buying and Rs 4.63 for selling. The buying and selling rates for one UAE dirham are Rs 41.56 and Rs 41.72, respectively, while the Malaysian ringgit is set at Rs 37.45 for buying and Rs 37.60 for selling.

The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 11.27 and the selling rate is Rs 11.31. Similarly, the Swedish krona has been fixed at Rs 15.57 for buying and Rs 15.63 for selling, while the Danish krone is set at Rs 23.42 for buying and Rs 23.51 for selling.

The Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 19.46 for buying and Rs 19.54 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar is set at Rs 496.67 for buying and Rs 498.62 for selling, while the Bahraini dinar is fixed at Rs 404.93 for buying and Rs 406.53 for selling. The Omani rial has been set at Rs 396.49 for buying and Rs 398.05 for selling.

The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. It also noted that exchange rates quoted by commercial banks may differ from the central bank’s rates. Updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
