KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is Rs 153.01, while the selling rate is Rs 153.61.
The buying rate for one European Euro has been fixed at Rs 175.66 and the selling rate at Rs 176.34. Similarly, the buying and selling rates for one UK Pound Sterling are Rs 204.78 and Rs 205.58, respectively, while those for one Swiss Franc are Rs 185.57 and Rs 186.70.
For one Australian Dollar, the buying rate is Rs 109.07 and the selling rate is Rs 109.50. The buying and selling rates for one Canadian Dollar are Rs 109.13 and Rs 109.55, respectively, while those for one Singapore Dollar are Rs 119.96 and Rs 120.43.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen has been fixed at Rs 9.73 and the selling rate at Rs 9.77. For one Chinese Yuan, the buying and selling rates are Rs 22.85 and Rs 22.94, respectively. Similarly, the buying rate for one Saudi Arabian Riyal is Rs 40.73 and the selling rate is Rs 40.89, while those for one Qatari Riyal are Rs 41.98 and Rs 42.14.
The central bank has fixed the buying and selling rates for one Thai Baht at Rs 4.60 and Rs 4.62, respectively. The rates for one UAE Dirham are Rs 41.66 and Rs 41.82; for one Malaysian Ringgit, Rs 37.53 and Rs 37.67; for 100 South Korean Won, Rs 11.15 and Rs 11.19; for one Swedish Kroner, Rs 15.57 and Rs 15.63; and for one Danish Kroner, Rs 23.50 and Rs 23.59.
Similarly, the buying and selling rates for one Hong Kong Dollar are Rs 19.50 and Rs 19.58, respectively. The rates for one Kuwaiti Dinar are Rs 497.84 and Rs 499.79; for one Bahraini Dinar, Rs 405.86 and Rs 407.45; and for one Omani Riyal, Rs 397.42 and Rs 398.98.
The buying and selling rates for 100 Indian Rupees have been fixed at Rs 160.00 and Rs 160.15, respectively.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates are subject to revision at any time if necessary. The central bank also noted that exchange rates quoted by commercial banks may differ from its published rates. Updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.+
