Foreign Minister Gyawali to visit Russian Federation, Serbia



KATHMANDU: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Gyawali is set to embark on a official visit to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Serbia.

Leading a delegation, Minister Gyawali will fly to the Russian Federation on November 23, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On November 25, Gyawali is scheduled to hold a meeting with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov of the Russian Federation.

According to the Foreign Ministry, Gyawali will deliver his views on the relations between Nepal and Russia at a program to be organized at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations on November 26.

He will also pay a courtesy call on Russian political leaders and and the representatives of Non Resident Nepali Association.

On November 27, Gyawali will fly to Belgrade, the capital city of Serbia, where he will meet with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic.

Foreign Secretary Shaker Das Bairagi, Nepali Ambassador to the Russian Federation Rishi Ram Ghimire among other officials will accompany Minister Gyawali during his foreign visit. He will return home on November 30.
