Nepal Day organized in Linz



VIENNA: The Embassy of Nepal in Vienna organized Nepal Day in Linz, the third-largest city of Austria, on November 16.

According to the Embassy, the main purpose of the event was to better connect with the people of the city and to promote ‘Visit Nepal 2020’.

Member of Linz Municipality Dr. Franz Leidenmuehler, Austrian guests and people from Nepali communities from different places were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Nepali Ambassador Prakash Kumar Subedi said that Nepal is an important destination for adventure tourism as Nepal boasts high-ranging mountains.

City Council member Dr.  Leidenmuehler, who was present as a Chief Guest, thanked the embassy for organizing the program in the city.

Saying that Nepal is a beautiful and attractive destination for tourists, Leidenmuehler expressed his willingness to visit Nepal at an appropriate time.
