KATHMANDU: The price of gold in Nepal fell by Rs 9,500 per tola on Sunday, marking a sharp decline in a single trading day.
The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association fixed the price of gold at Rs 309,000 per tola for Sunday, compared with Rs 318,500 on the previous trading day.
Gold had been trading at Rs 320,900 per tola on Thursday and Rs 322,100 on Wednesday. The price of silver also decreased on Sunday, dropping by Rs 185 per tola.
Silver, which was priced at Rs 4,965 per tola on the previous trading day, is being traded at Rs 4,780 per tola on Sunday.
