Rasuwa flash floods: Death toll rises to 469



KATHMANDU: The death toll from the devastating flash floods in Rasuwa on Wednesday morning has risen to 469, according to Nepal Police.

The latest police update, released as of 7:00 am today, puts the total number of fatalities at 469. Of the bodies recovered so far, 12 were found in Rasuwa and 37 in Nuwakot.

Similarly, 33 bodies were recovered in Dhading, while 44 were found in Gorkha and 178 in Chitwan.

Police said 28 bodies were recovered in Tanahun, 110 in Nawalparasi East and 27 in Nawalparasi West.

According to the police, 28 Nepal Police personnel remain missing following the disaster.
