KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress Central Working Committee meeting will continue on Tuesday at the party’s central office in Sanepa.
According to acting chief secretary Krishna Prasad Dulal, the meeting is scheduled to begin at 11:30 am.
The meeting, which began on Sunday, has been discussing preparations for the party’s 15th general convention as well as contemporary political and economic issues and matters related to people’s livelihoods.
According to the party, the meeting has also discussed the smooth supply of cooking gas, availability of chemical fertilisers, market management for farmers’ produce, control of black marketing and energy policy.
The meeting, chaired by party president Gagan Kumar Thapa, has begun hearing views from central committee members.
Twenty-two central committee members presented their views at Monday’s meeting, while the remaining members are scheduled to speak at Tuesday’s session.
