Shram Sanskriti Party protests after lawmaker denied chance to speak in Parliament

KATHMANDU: The Shram Sanskriti Party has protested after Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal allegedly prevented one of its lawmakers from speaking in the House of Representatives.

Party Chairperson and lawmaker Harka Sampang Rai raised objections during the parliamentary session, accusing the Speaker of discriminating against his party.

Standing in protest inside the House, Rai claimed that the Shram Sanskriti Party had been treated unfairly and denied equal opportunities to participate in parliamentary proceedings.

He questioned the Speaker’s decision and expressed concern over what he described as discrimination within the federal parliament.

The issue briefly disrupted proceedings as Rai continued to voice his objections and demand fair treatment for his party in the House.
