Class 11 classes to begin from June 15: Education Ministry

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Education and Sports has decided to begin the teaching-learning activities for Class 11 from June 15.

The decision comes after the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) results were published within a month, helping remove earlier uncertainty regarding the academic calendar for Grade 11.

Following the decision, the ministry has directed the Education and Human Resource Development Centre to send official circulars to all schools and local governments to ensure proper implementation of the new schedule.

Previously, there was confusion among students and parents regarding when SEE results would be published and when Class 11 classes would begin.

The ministry said that by ensuring timely publication of SEE results and starting classes as scheduled, it aims to strengthen academic governance and improve the effectiveness of teaching-learning activities.

It further stated that starting Class 11 from June 15 would help improve the quality of school education and maintain uniformity in the academic calendar across all school levels.
