KATHMANDU: The results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) have been published.

According to the results announced on Monday, a total of 65.98 percent of students have passed this year’s exam.

The National Examination Board announced the results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) during a press conference held at the Office of the Controller of Examinations in Sanothimi on Monday evening.

Officials said the results would become available on websites shortly after the official announcement.

According to the board, 65.98 percent of students passed this year’s SEE examinations.

The SEE exams were conducted from Chaitra 19 to 29, 2082 B.S. Authorities said the results were published earlier than usual this year because answer sheets were checked directly at examination centers.

A total of 512,421 students had registered for this year’s examinations. Among them, 441,566 students filled forms under the regular category, while 70,855 students applied for grade improvement exams.

The total examinees included 257,613 female students, 254,801 male students and seven students categorized under others.

The examination is conducted nationwide for students completing secondary level schooling, and the results are closely watched as a key academic milestone in Nepal’s education system.
