RPP demands taking diplomatic route to settle border issue

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party has demanded the government to immediately take diplomatic measures to protect Nepali territory and urge India to correct its erroneous political map.

The meeting of the party office-bearers held on Wednesday to discuss the contemporary political situation and party organization took seriously the issue of apprehension in Nepal-India relations with the publication of new political map of India that placed some of Nepal’s lands in it.

“It is not good for both countries to have apprehension,” said a press statement issued by Publicity Department Chief of the party, Mohan Shrestha.
