KATHMANDU: Parts of the country are set to experience unsettled weather today, with rain and thunderstorms likely in several regions.
The weather will remain generally cloudy in the hilly and Himalayan regions, while the Terai is expected to see partly cloudy conditions.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology’s Weather Forecasting Division, there is a likelihood of moderate rainfall and snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning at some places in Koshi and Gandaki provinces, and at a few places in other provinces today.
Tonight, conditions will remain mostly cloudy in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, with partly cloudy skies elsewhere. The division has forecast moderate rain with thunder and lightning at a few places in Koshi, Madhes and Bagmati, and a chance of similar weather, including snowfall, at one or two places in the remaining provinces.
