Bangladeshi President Hamid, Dahal hold talks



KATHMANDU: Bangladeshi President Mohammad Abdul Hamid, who is on a four-day goodwill visit to Nepal, has held talks with ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

In a brief meeting held at Kathmandu Hotel Marriott today morning, the leaders discussed issues of bilateral interest, the foreign ministry said.

Hamid is scheduled to meet with President Bidya Bhandari at 4 pm, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at 2:40 pm and with Nepali Congress leader Sher Bahadur Deuba at 2 pm, sources said.

Leading a 52-member delegation at the invitation of President Bhandari, Hamid came to Nepal on Tuesday.
