Madhes Provincial Assembly session to end at midnight



DHANUSHA: The ongoing session of the Madhes Provincial Assembly will conclude at midnight today.

According to a press release issued by the Office of the Provincial Chief, Surendralabh Karna ended the session on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, in line with Article 183 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal. The decision will take effect from 12:00 midnight Friday.

The Provincial Council of Ministers had decided during its meeting on April 21 to recommend the closure of the current session effective from midnight.
