KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division have warned of possible rain in the Kathmandu Valley today, along with several other parts of the country.
According to meteorologist Binu Maharjan, moderate to heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is expected in the valley this afternoon.
“The weather in the Kathmandu Valley has been generally cloudy since morning,” she said. “There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain later today.”
Early measurements at 5:45 am recorded the minimum temperature in the Kathmandu Valley at 15.5°C. However, as of 8:45 am, the temperature may have decreased slightly from the initial reading, although in some areas it could remain unchanged.
