Maheshpur Customs Office misses revenue target by 14 percent

NAWALPARASI: The Maheshpur Customs Office, Nawalparasi, has fallen short of its revenue target in the first eight months of the current fiscal year.

The office collected Rs 106.43 million against the target of Rs 123.74 million by mid-March, achieving about 86 percent of the goal.

Customs Office Chief Bikash Upadhyay said meeting the remaining 14 percent target within the next four months would be challenging, though efforts are ongoing to improve collection.
