Saudi humanitarian assistance arrives in Nepal



KATHMANDU: A Saudi Arabian aircraft carrying humanitarian and relief supplies provided through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) arrived in Nepal today.

Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation Mahabir Pun and Saudi Ambassador to Nepal Fahad bin Mohammed bin Mnikhr received the assistance on behalf of the Government of Nepal.

A specialized KSrelief team will work with the concerned Nepali authorities to coordinate the distribution of the relief supplies.

Minister Pun expressed gratitude to the Saudi leadership for the assistance, saying the support demonstrated the strong friendship and close ties between Nepal and Saudi Arabia.
