NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 149.64 and the selling rate is Rs 150.24.

Similarly, the buying rate of one euro stands at Rs 173.15 and the selling rate at Rs 173.84. The buying rate of one UK pound sterling is Rs 199.66 and the selling rate is Rs 200.46, while the Swiss franc is being traded at Rs 189.90 for buying and Rs 190.66 for selling.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 105.10 and the selling rate is Rs 105.52. The Canadian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 109.04 and a selling rate of Rs 109.48, while the Singapore dollar is priced at Rs 116.70 for buying and Rs 117.16 for selling.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.40 and the selling rate is Rs 9.44. The Chinese yuan is being exchanged at Rs 21.73 for buying and Rs 21.82 for selling. Similarly, the Saudi Arabian riyal is set at Rs 39.85 (buying) and Rs 40.01 (selling), while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 40.94 (buying) and Rs 41.11 (selling).

According to the central bank, the Thai baht is valued at Rs 4.55 for buying and Rs 4.57 for selling. The UAE dirham stands at Rs 40.74 (buying) and Rs 40.90 (selling), while the Malaysian ringgit is priced at Rs 37.98 (buying) and Rs 38.14 (selling).

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.00 and the selling rate is Rs 9.98. The Swedish kronor is set at Rs 16.00 for buying and Rs 16.08 for selling, while the Danish kroner is valued at Rs 23.17 (buying) and Rs 23.27 (selling).

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 19.10 and the selling rate at Rs 19.18. The Kuwaiti dinar is priced at Rs 488.06 for buying and Rs 490.02 for selling, while the Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 396.34 (buying) and Rs 397.93 (selling). The Omani rial is set at Rs 388.68 (buying) and Rs 390.23 (selling).

Similarly, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as needed. It also noted that rates set by commercial banks may vary, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
