KATHMANDU: Rain is likely to persist in the Kathmandu Valley today, with meteorologists forecasting intermittent showers following yesterday’s widespread rainfall across the region.
The Weather Forecasting Division stated that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in the Valley throughout the day. Rainfall was recorded across Kathmandu, including areas such as thunderstorm, on Friday evening, although it has temporarily subsided at present.
Light rain is still being reported in some parts of the country following widespread rainfall on Friday.
The minimum temperature in the Kathmandu Valley was recorded at 11.3 degrees Celsius in the preliminary reading taken at 5:45 am today. The final minimum temperature will be measured at 8:45 am and may slightly decline or remain unchanged. On Friday, the minimum temperature remained steady at 11.5 degrees Celsius in both initial and final readings.
