Prachanda takes early lead in Rukum East-1



KATHMANDU: Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party, has taken an early lead in Rukum East-1 as vote counting continues.

According to the latest tally, Dahal, also known as Prachanda, has secured 1,415 votes so far.

Leelamani Gautam of the UML has received 431 votes, while Kusum Devi Thapa of the Nepali Congress has garnered 417 votes.
