BAGLUNG: Coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has said that despite political differences among various communist parties, cooperation has continued whenever the nation faces challenges.
Addressing a joint election rally of the NCP and the Rastriya Janamorcha in Galkot, Baglung today, Prachanda highlighted that the collaboration in Baglung sends a message of unity across the country.
He added that the electoral alliance with Janamorcha demonstrates nationwide unity and that this cooperation will continue even after the elections.
“Different communist parties have political disagreements, but in times of national crisis, we have always collaborated. This time too, there is a functional unity and alliance to steer the country out of crisis,” Prachanda said. “After the Gen-Z movement of September 8 and 9, we decided to advance party unity and cooperation, which led to the collaboration with Janamorcha.”
Mohan Bikram Singh, General Secretary of NCP Masal, said the country is facing a serious crisis and expressed confidence that the elections would guide it back on the right path. He urged voters not to take the upcoming March 5 election lightly and to identify candidates working in the national interest before casting their votes.
It was also announced that in the two constituencies in Baglung, NCP will support Janamorcha’s Krishna Adhikari in Constituency No. 1, while Janamorcha will support NCP’s candidate Gyamnath Gaire in Constituency No. 2.
