According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu was measured at 6°C at 5:45 am on Saturday.

It, however, stated that this is a preliminary reading, and the official minimum temperature for the day will be recorded again at 8:45 am. The temperature is expected to drop slightly during the official measurement.

On Friday, the initial minimum temperature in Kathmandu was recorded at 5.7°C, which later declined to 5.2°C during the official reading.
