KATHMANDU: Police have arrested one person in possession of brown heroin and made the arrest public today.
The arrested individual has been identified as 32-year-old Subash Chaulagain of Makalu Rural Municipality–2, Sankhuwasabha, according to Central Police Spokesperson and Deputy Inspector General of Police Abinarayan Kafle.
Kafle said Chaulagain was arrested with around 3 grams and 200 milligrams of a substance suspected to be brown heroin from Tokha Municipality–7. He added that a team deployed from the Tilingetar Police Division carried out the arrest and that further investigation is underway.
