Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 144.01, while the selling rate stands at Rs 144.61.

Similarly, the buying rate of one European euro has been fixed at Rs 168.03 and the selling rate at Rs 168.73. The buying rate of one UK pound sterling is Rs 194.81. The Swiss franc is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 180.38 and a selling rate of Rs 181.14.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been set at Rs 96.47 and the selling rate at Rs 96.87. Likewise, the Canadian dollar is being traded at Rs 103.73 for buying and Rs 104.17 for selling, while the Singapore dollar stands at Rs 111.87 for buying and Rs 112.34 for selling.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.06 and the selling rate is Rs 9.10. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 20.64 and sold at Rs 20.73. Similarly, the Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of Rs 38.40 and a selling rate of Rs 38.56, while the Qatari riyal is being traded at Rs 39.40 for buying and Rs 39.56 for selling.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.58. The UAE dirham has a buying rate of Rs 39.21 and a selling rate of Rs 39.37. The Malaysian ringgit is being traded at Rs 35.49 for buying and Rs 35.64 for selling.

The buying and selling rates of 100 South Korean won are Rs 9.77 and Rs 9.81 respectively. The Swedish kronor is being traded at Rs 15.69 for buying and Rs 15.76 for selling, while the Danish kronor stands at Rs 22.49 for buying and Rs 22.58 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 18.46 and the selling rate at Rs 18.53. The Kuwaiti dinar is being traded at Rs 470.93 for buying and Rs 472.89 for selling, while the Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 382.00 for buying and Rs 383.60 for selling. The Omani rial has a buying rate of Rs 374.05 and a selling rate of Rs 375.61. Similarly, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.

The central bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It also noted that rates offered by commercial banks may differ, and the updated rates are available on Nepal Rastra Bank’s official website.
