Balen leaves Kumar Ben’s house after 10 hours

LALITPUR: Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah left Lalitpur after spending 10 hours at the residence of his aide Kumar Ben in Jhaghal.

During his stay in Lalitpur, Balen met more than a dozen individuals involved in building a new alternative political force.

He interacted with several prominent figures, including Kulman Ghising, Rabi Lamichhane, Amresh Singh, and Baburam Bhattarai, holding discussions at a single location.

However, no concrete agreement was reached. In particular, Kulman, Rabi, and Balen are all seen as potential future prime ministers.

Due to differing ambitions among the three, the chances of uniting the new forces remain slim. After a full day of political meetings, Balen left Lalitpur and returned to Kathmandu.
