KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices increased in the domestic market on Thursday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
The price of gold has been fixed at Rs 260,400 per tola, up by Rs 700 compared to the previous trading day. On Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 259,700 per tola. The all-time high for gold in the Nepali market remains Rs 260,700 per tola, recorded on Monday.
Silver prices also rose by Rs 25 per tola, setting a new record. Silver, which was traded at Rs 4,055 per tola a day earlier, climbed to Rs 4,080 per tola on Thursday.
Silver has been hitting successive record highs over the past two days, the association said.
