Weather to remain mainly fair across the country

KATHMANDU: Fair weather is expected to prevail across most parts of Nepal today, with only brief cloud cover in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.

Light rain or brief snowfall is possible in one or two locations of the hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi and Gandaki Provinces due to local atmospheric activity.

According to the Division, no significant weather system is currently influencing the country. Tonight, similar conditions are expected to persist, with partial cloud cover in the hilly regions and clear skies over most other areas.

Meteorologists said that the fair weather will likely continue for the next few days, making it favorable for outdoor travel and the ongoing post-festival movement of people.
