Pakistan PM expresses solidarity with Nepal following deadly floods and landslides



KATHMANDU: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has extended his condolences to Nepal following the recent devastation caused by floods and landslides.

In a message shared today on the social media platform X, Prime Minister Sharif expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and damage resulting from the disasters. He offered heartfelt sympathies to the families of the victims and acknowledged the gravity of the situation.

“In this difficult time, the Government of Pakistan and its people stand in solidarity with the Government of Nepal and the Nepali people,” he stated.

The floods and landslides, triggered by continuous rainfall in several districts of Nepal, have resulted in significant casualties and widespread destruction of infrastructure.
