Nepali Army rescues two people, including new mother



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Army today rescued two individuals, including a new mother, who were seriously injured in a landslide in Patigaun, Mangsebung Rural Municipality-1, Ilam.

They were airlifted by an army helicopter and transported to the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan for treatment, according to the Army Public Relations and Information Directorate.

The Army also reported that security personnel have been mobilized from 21 battalion headquarters and subordinate units in response to the landslide damage across Mangsebung Rural Municipality, Ilam Municipality, and the Manebhanjyang area.
