Landslide in Ilam kills 11 people

KATHMANDU: At least 11 people have been confirmed dead following multiple landslides in Ilam district on Saturday night.

According to Chief District Officer Sunita Nepal, two houses were buried by landslides in various locations, including Ilam Municipality-6 and Maijogmai Rural Municipality. Search and rescue efforts are underway to locate the missing and assist the injured.
