Gold price surpasses Rs 221,000



KATHMANDU: The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association has fixed the gold price at Rs 221,700 per tola for Tuesday, marking the highest level to date.

The price has increased by Rs 3,900 compared to Monday, when it was Rs 217,800 per tola. Over the past month, gold has surged by around Rs 26,000.

Silver prices have also risen, reaching Rs 2,680 per tola, up from Rs 2,650, also marking a record high.
