President Bhandari thanks for all making Xi’s state visit a success

KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Wednesday thanked all contributing to make the recent state visit by Chinese President Xi Jinping successful.

Writing on her twitter account, President Bhandari said: “Heartfelt thanks to Nepali brothers and sisters, security bodies, mass media and all stakeholders concerned who had supported to make the historic visit successful by offering China’s Rt Honorable President Xi Jinping a warm welcome!”

She adds, “There will be my continual efforts to materialize happiness and enthusiasm seen among the people possible from the visit of Rt Honorable Chinese President.”

She tweeted on her official tweeter account before leaving on a five-day state visit to Myanmar on Wednesday.

The Chinese President had paid the two-day official state visit to Nepal on October 12 and 13.
