KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli, who is currently in Tianjin, China to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, met with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The meeting took place on Monday and lasted about half an hour at the Meixiang Conference Center in Tianjin. According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest.
Prime Minister Oli is on a five-day official visit to China. Earlier, he met with Chinese President Xi Jinping, where he raised the issue of the Lipulekh agreement between China and India.
On Sunday, Oli also held talks with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
