Man arrested for murdering wife in Surkhet



KARNALI: A man has been arrested on charges of murdering his wife in Surkhet district.

Dansingh Thadamagar, 42, of Birendranagar Municipality-13, allegedly beat his 41-year-old wife, Rabina, to death with a wooden plank while she was asleep, according to Mohan Jung Budthapa, spokesperson for the District Police Office.

Police discovered Rabina’s body after locals from Kaherkhola reported the incident and restrained Thadamagar until officers arrived. Authorities have confirmed that an investigation into the case is currently underway.
