Chinese President Xi’s itinerary today



KATHMANDU: Chinese President Xi Jinping, who is currently on a two-day state visit to Nepal, will engage in meetings and other engagements before flying back home this afternoon.

The Chinese President is visiting Nepal at the invitation of his Nepali counterpart Bidhya Devi Bhandari.

Visit by a Chinese President after a hiatus of 23 years to Nepal is expected to further strengthen ties between the two neighboring countries.

Chinese President Xi is scheduled to meet with Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chairman, Pushpa Kamal Dahal at 10:30 AM today.

Likewise, he is also scheduled to hold delegation-level talks with Prime Minister KP Oli today. The two sides will also sign bilateral agreements and memoranda of understanding between the two nations.

Chinese President Xi is scheduled to return home at 1:00 PM this afternoon.
