Prabhu Helicopter to issue IPO, vows enhanced service quality



KATHMANDU: Prabhu Helicopter has reaffirmed its commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, and passenger-friendly flight services.

On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, the company announced plans to further strengthen its operations while also preparing to issue an Initial Public Offering (IPO) to the general public.

Speaking at the anniversary celebration, Chairman Subhash Amatya expressed gratitude to stakeholders, customers, and partners for their continued support over the past decade. He also pledged to enhance service quality in the years ahead.

Originally established as Muktinath Helicopters, the company was acquired by Prabhu Group in 2072 BS and has since been operating under the name Prabhu Helicopters.

“We are committed to providing safe, reliable, and effective air transport services in Nepal’s diverse and challenging terrain,” the company stated, adding that it hopes to continue receiving public trust and support.

Prabhu Helicopter is active in tourism, emergency rescue operations, and cargo transportation. Starting its commercial operations with a single Robinson helicopter, the company now operates two Airbus H125 helicopters.

It offers sightseeing and chartered helicopter tours in Pokhara, Kathmandu, and Langtang, and also operates flights to religious and scenic destinations such as Muktinath, Gosaikunda, Kalinchowk Bhagwati, and Lumbini.

Additionally, it provides air services to the base camps of Everest, Annapurna, and Machhapuchhre, along with emergency rescue missions.

Incorporated under the Companies Act, 2063, Prabhu Helicopter Pvt. Ltd. was converted into a public limited company on Asad 30, 2079. The company also operates its own hangar facility in Pokhara.

Meanwhile, Prabhu Helicopter Limited is now preparing to issue its Initial Public Offering (IPO) to the general public. The company has appointed Muktinath Capital as the issue and sales manager for the IPO.
