PM Oli to offer Dashain Tika



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to offer the Dashain Tika to ministers, lawmakers, distinguished personalities, and others interested in the Day of Bijaya Dashami, the tenth day of the Bada Dashain festival on October 8, Tuesday.

According to the Prime Minister’s press advisor Dr. Kundan Aryal, the Prime Minister will give the Dashain Tika to ministers, lawmakers, distinguished personalities and party leaders from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Similarly, a schedule from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm is for offering Tika to party cadres, supporters, well-wishers and those interested in receiving the Dashain Tika from the Prime Minister. However, schedules of remaining other Dashain days after Tika have not been fixed now. The Prime Minister will receive the Tika and blessings from his father at the most auspicious hour decided for the same on the Day of Bijaya Dashami.

On the day of Maha Navami, the ninth day of the festival tomorrow, he will attend a  greeting-exchange ceremony in his home town Jhapa.
