DAMAULI: A leopard that attacked children at various wards of the Bhanu Municipality has been trapped.

The leopard is said to have attacked children at ward number 2, 3 and 4 of the municipality on different dates.

The leopard was controlled by constructing a shed inside a community forest at the municipality by keeping a goat inside the shed as bait.

According to Kedar Baral, chief of the Division Forestry Office Tanahun, the leopard was trapped in the shed after long efforts.

They are planning to send the leopard either to the central zoo or to the national park.
